Samsung brings second WP7 smartphone Focus

The Samsung Focus along with Samsung Omnia was showcased during the launch of Microsoft Windows Phone 7 mobile operating system. Samsung aims to gain more shares in highly competitive handset market. Microsoft and Samsung joined hand to thrash the supremacy of Apple iPhone and Google Android devices in world smartphone market.

Samsung Focus has 4-inch Super AMOLED multi-touch display with 480X800 pixel resolution. The 5 megapixel camera offers HD video recording at 720p. The smartphone offers 8 GB internal memory and micro SD slot for the expansion. WP7 OS is powered with 1GHz Qualcomm QSD8250 Snapdragon processor, 256 MB RAM and 512 MB ROM.
The connectivity features include Bluetooth 2.1,WiFi 802.11b/802.11g/802.11n, micro USB and 3.5 audio jack. The multimedia video player supports formats like MPEG4, H.263, H.264 and WMV.
Samsung Focus will hit United States market by Nov 8 through AT&T Mobiles. The price and advanced specifications are not yet available.
