Major fire breaks out in Thane hotel

Thane, Oct 12: A major fire broke out in a three-star luxury hotel in the Ghodbunder road, Thane, on Tuesday, Oct 12.

The incident took place in afternoon and more than dozen fire engines and ambulances rushed to the spot as soon as they came to know about the incident.

The fire official on the spot confirmed that there is no human casualty so far, and efforts are underway to control it. All the people in the building have been evacuated.

However, the authorities are yet to answer the questions on what cause the fire at the ten-storeyed building.
