BJP set to sweep all 6 Guj Municipal Corporations?

Ahmedabad, Oct 12: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) seems likely to claim power in all six Municipal Corporations in Gujarat, which went into polling on Sunday, Oct 10.

According to the initial trends in the counting of votes, which began on Tuesday, Oct 12 morning, ruling BJP is leading in all six municipal corporations namely Ahmedabad, Surat, Rajkot, Vadodara, Jamnagar and Bhavnagar.

In Ahmedabad , BJP is leading in 20 seats, followed by Congress leading in 10 seats.

In Surat, BJP is leading in 18 seats while the Congress is leading in six seats.

In Rajkot, BJP is leading in 16 and Congress in two.

In Vadodara, the BJP is leading in 17 seats and Congress is leading in eight seats.

In Jamnagar, the BJP is leading in 15 seats and the Congress is leading in six seats.

In Bhavnagar BJP is leading in 28 seats and the Congress is leading in eight seats.
