Railway Minister announces Rs. 2 lakh as ex-gratia to kin of train-auto accident victim in Bihar
New Delhi, Oct.9 (ANI): The Raiways Minister, Mamata Banerjee, on Saturday announced an ex-gratia payment of rupees 2 lakh to the next of the kin of the deceased as a special case in which a three-wheeler was hit by 2435 Guwahati -New Delhi Rajdhani Express train at an unmanned level crossing near Katihar in Bihar today leading to death of eight persons.
Describing the incident as most unfortunate, the Railway Minister expressed her profound grief over the loss of innocent lives. (ANI)
