Pak Minister admits corruption rampant throughout the country in National Assembly!
Islamabad, Oct 8 (ANI): A federal minister of the Pakistan government admitted in the National Assembly that corruption was rampant everywhere in the country, and not only in his ministry.
"I don't say that there is no corruption in my ministry, but the question is where it is not," the Dawn quoted Ghulam Ahmad Bilour, the Federal Minister for Railways, as saying.
He made the outrageous statement while replying to a supplementary question about whether the poor financial health of Pakistan Railways was because of corruption in the ministry.
In reply to another question, the minister said that the recent flood disaster in the country had caused a whopping loss of 7.696 billion rupees to Railways. (ANI)
