Mercedes introduces new R-Class @ Rs 58.79 lakh

New delhi, Oct 8: Hoping for an entirely new market segment for the company, Mercedes-Benz India on Oct 7 introduced its new car, R-Class at Rs 58.79 lakh.

The seven seater car, powered by a 3.5-litre V6 engine, has multi-element headlamps, standard front fog lamps, 18-inch alloy wheels, dual chrome exhaust tips, LED tail lamps and with top speed of 230 km per hour.

One of the director of the company claimed, "We are assured that this crossover model will be an attractive communication possibility reflecting the fascination and exhilaration of MB products."

His statement also added, "Conceived to combine all the best characteristics of a luxury sport sedan with the versatility of an SUV, the 5-door design and finely tuned features."
