Fire breaks out at Gwalior tyre warehouse

Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh), Oct.8 (ANI): Heaps of old tyres were destroyed in a massive fire that broke out at a warehouse here on Friday.

The fire broke out after midnight and soon spread across the entire warehouse.

The warehouse is located near the Gupteshwar Temple close to the Tigara Dam on the outskirts of Gwalior.

Around 140 fire brigade personnel were deployed to douse the blaze. No causalities were reported.

The authorities are so worried that they have asked families residing close to the warehouse to move to safer places.

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. By Javed Khan (ANI)
