K'taka govt crisis: 14 rebel MLAs land in Mumbai
The rebel MLAs landed at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport on Wednesday night. Media reported that MLAs may visit Shirdi on Thursday Oct 7.
Mean while BJP had sent senior leader Venkaiah Naidu to Bangalore to solve the issue by making peace with the rebel MLAs. Venkaiah Naidu, BJP Rajya Sabha MP from Karnataka, told that party president Nitin Gadkari suggested him to leave for Bangalore to solve the crisis faced by first BJP government in south India.
On Wednesday, Oct 6 Karnataka Governor asked Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa to prove the majority of the government by 5 pm on Oct 12.
