26/11: Interpol notice against 2 Pak army majors

New Delhi, Oct 7: Following the disclosures made by American national and Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist David Headley, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has secured an Interpol Red Corner Notice against five accused persons, including two Pakistani Army majors, for their alleged role in the Mumbai terror attack in 2008.

The Interpol issued the Red Corner Notice after securing a non-bailable warrant from the court Additional Sessions Judge in New Delhi.

The five accused persons are Major Sameer Ali, and Major Iqbal, both serving in the Pakistani Army, Illyas Kashmiri, a LeT terrorist, Sajid Majid and Syed Abdur Rehman Hashim.

As per NIA officials report, these people had worked in close collaboration with Headley in executing the plans of the Lashkar for carrying out terror strikes in Mumbai.
