Building collapses in Mumbai, 3 killed, 6 injured

Mumbai, Oct 7: A multi-storey building collapsed in Bhendi Bazaar, located in south Mumbai, injuring at least six people, while some reports suggest that as many as three people were killed in the mishap.

The three-storeyed Jamnadas building collapsed on Thursday, Oct 7 morning. While inputs suggest that six people were injured in the collapse, latest TV news reports state that three were killed.

Fire officials informed that five to six people are feared to be trapped in the debris of the collapsed building.

Six fire engines and four ambulances were rushed in when the mishap was reported. The injured have been taken to a near-by hospital.

Rescue operations are on.
