Nagpur: Raped by father, 15-yr-old girl conceives

Nagpur, Oct 6: A 52-year-old father has been arrested and booked for raping and causing his 15-year-old daughter to get pregnant.

The accused, identified as Ajay Raghunandan Agarwal, allegedly sexually assaulted the minor girl in Aug 2010.

Agarwal, who has split from his wife, raped the girl when they were alone at home, located in Sitabuldi area.

Speaking on the case on Wednesday, Oct 6, police said incident came to light when the girl conceived and was admitted to Government Medical College due to some complications.

After learning of this, the mother lodged a police complaint against Agarwal.
