84-year-old Oz man 'sexually assaults' 7-year-old girl

Melbourne, Oct 6 (ANI): An 84-year-old Aussie man is said to have sexually assaulted a girl under 13 years in a park in Perth's south.

Police allege that at about 5.50pm local time on Monday, the man from Beaconsfield in Perth's south was seen acting suspiciously around young children in the park in the suburb of Langdon.

They said the man approached a seven-year-old girl and led her to another area of the park where it's alleged he indecently assaulted her.

"Several adults became aware of the situation and went to assist the girl whilst another couple followed the man and advised police of his location," News.com.au quoted police as saying in a statement.

The man was charged with sexual penetration of a child under 13 years and will appear in the Fremantle Magistrates Court on October 19. (ANI)
