Sydney: Indian engineering student missing
Abhijeet Swami, came to Australia with his family some months back, and was last seen on Oct 1, when he left his Seven Hills home on a bicycle, police said.
Swami's family lodged complaint, when he did not return home as expected. After investigation the police founded Swami's bicycle at the Blacktown railway station but found no trace of him.
Now, the Sydney Police has appealed for help to find Abhijeet Swami.
Family members and the Police are more concerns about Swami, as he has been living in Australia for the past few months and does not know many people other than his immediate family.
Police said Swami was wearing blue jeans, a brown long-sleeved chequered shirt and white sport shoes, when he left home on Oct 1.
Indians are the largest group of foreign students in Australia and Abhijeet Swami's missing has again raised questions over security of Indian in Australia.
