Congress to hold its plenary session on December 20
New Delhi, Oct.5 (ANI): The Congress party on Tuesday said that it has decided to hold its plenary session on December 20 and a meeting of the newly elected AICC members will be held before the festival of Diwali.
Speaking to reporters after the Congress Working Committee's meet today, Party General Secretary Janardhan Dwivedi said that "the Committee has decided to hold the plenary session of the party on the 20th of December."
He also informed that "a full fledged meeting of the newly elected AICC members will be held before Diwali."
"A group also has been formed to go into the issue of amending the party's constitution," he further stated.
The Congress Working Committee (CWC) has now been converted into Congress Steering Committee following the re-election of Sonia Gandhi as party chief for the fourth term.
The election for the CWC will be held during the Plenary. (ANI)
