Iraq: Bomb attack at minister's convoy, 1 killed

Baghdad, Oct 4: A bomb targeted Iraqi minister's convoy in Baghdad on Monday, Oct 4. One man was dead and seven others were injured.

According the police sources, the bomb targeted the convoy of Fouad Al-Moussawi, a Deputy Minister of Sciences and Technology of South-East Baghdad.

However, the minister escaped from the attack but his bodyguard was killed and seven others were injured.

Officials at Ibn Al-Nafess Hospital confirmed the police report.
