CWG spirit; India post releases CWG stamps

Third Set of Stamps on Tennis, Archery, Hockey and Athletics was released by Rameshwari Handa Chief Postmaster General, Delhi Circle.
Lt General (Retd) Ashok Kapur ADG (Games Village) and other senior officers of India Post were also present at the release of stamps.
The Indian postal department has already issued two sets of stamps, one set on the Queen"s Baton Relay and a second on the Jawaharlal Nehru and Talkatora Stadiums.
As the commemorative, stamps are printed in very limited quantity, for this issue only 4 lakh stamps have been printed.
The Commonwealth games 2010, are being held in Delhi, from 3-14 Oct 2010, the largest multi-sport event conducted to date in Delhi and India, which has previously hosted the Asian Games in 1951 and 1982
