Eiffel Tower is on terror targets list: Report

Washington, Oct 4: Just few days back the famous Eiffel Tower was evacuated on Sep 15 over bomb alert and once again a media report revealed that the iconic place is still not free from possible terror attacks.

A media report said on Oct 4 that a Pakistan based terrorists group were plotting to carry out Mumbai-style attack in European cities and their prime targets were Eiffel Tower and Berlin's Central Station.

Suspecting a terror threat, on Oct 3, US already issued a special travel advisory asking its citizens to guard against potential terror threats while in Europe.

Among the other high profile targets of the militants were Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris; the high profile hotel of Berline, Hotel Adlon; Germany's most famous symbol, Brandenburg Gate and Berline's Alexanderplatz TV tower.
