US increases drone attacks to tackle terrorism

According to US, Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence agency (ISI) continued to support the Haqqanis to counter against India's presence in the region.
CIA has taken the decision to beef up the drone attacks against terrorism because CIA concerned that Islamabad has been unable or unwilling to do its work against terrorism.
"The shift in strategic focus reflects the US view that, with Pakistan's military unable or unwilling to do the job, more US force against terrorist sanctuaries in Pakistanis now needed to turn around the struggling Afghan war effort across the border," reported Wall Street Journal.
