BJP slaps cyber fraud notice to Congress

BJP flag
New Delhi, Oct 3: BJP has slapped a legal notice to the AICC headquarters over its website being redirected to the Congress (AICC) website.

The BJP alleges that the AICC bought a website bjp.com from a outsider to "mislead" the people visiting its website.

"If anyone type www.bjp.com on the Internet browser, the caption which appears is www.bjp.com - All India Congress Committee - AICC and on punching the enter button, the user gets immediately directed to the website of the Indian National Congress," a BJP official said.

The saffron party was upset over its low hits to its website on Sep 30 (Ayodhya verdict ), and those who tried to visit the BJP website were disappointed as it was re-directed to aicc.com.

The private website is owned by Bharat Janata Prakashan, allege BJP officials.
