Market closes in green, HDFC, Sterlite up

At 04.20 hrs, BSE Sensex was 20,069.12 up 112.78 points and NSE Nifty was 6029.95 up 38.65 points.
The top gainers were HDFC up 3.71 percent, Sterlite Ind up 3.41 percent, Hindalco up 2.87 percent and ITC up 2.71 percent.
The top losers were Ambuja Cements down 4.45 percent, BPCL down 2.04 percent, Power Grid Corp down 1.98 percent and Rel Capital down 1.98 percent.

Market continues in red, ONGC, &T, Infosys down
Sensex remained remained rangebound in trade ahead of F&O expiry on Thursday, Sep 30. Heavyweights like ONGC, Reliance Industries, L&T, Infosys, NTPC, Tata Motors and Bharti were witnessing selling pressure in the markets.
HDFC, ITC, Cairn, Sterlite, HDFC Bank, Maruti, Axis Bank, Cipla, Sun Pharma, Hindalco and GAIL were on buyers radar.
At 03.00 hrs, BSE Sensex was 19,936.33 down 20.01 points and NSE Nifty was 5986.05 down 5.25 points.
The most active in trading were HDFC, Tata Steel, SBI and Reliance.
The top gainers were HDFC up 3.93 percent, Sterlite Ind up 3.10 percent, Cairn India up 2.53 percent and Hindalco up 2.40 percent.
The top losers were Ambuja Cements down 5.03 percent, Power Grid Corp down 2.25 percent, ONGC down 2.00 percent and BPCL down 1.97 percent.

Market dipped into red due to sell-off in oil & gas, realty, auto, capital goods, private power, FMCG and select metal companies.
At 01.25 hrs, BSE Sensex was 19,940.40 down 15.94 points and NSE Nifty was 5990.40 down 0.90 points.
SBI, Infosys, Bharti, Reliance Communications and Wipro were witnessing selling pressure.
The most active in trading were HDFC, Tata Steel, SBI and Reliance.
The top gainers were HDFC up 3.10 percent, Sterlite Ind up 1.70 percent, Cairn India up 1.65 percent and Sun Pharma up 1.42 percent.
The top losers were ABB down 3.36 percent, Ambuja Cements down 2.04 percent, Power Grid Corp down 1.70 percent and BPCL down 1.67 percent.

Market opens on flat note, Wipro, Hindalco up
Market opened the trade on a flat note following quiet trade across the globe. Nifty was hovering around 5600 level.
Wipro, Hindalco, Power Grid, Hero Honda, Tata Steel, M&M, DLF, BHEL and Sun Pharma were witnessing selling pressure.
Idea Cellular, BPCL, Reliance Communications, ITC, Reliance Industries, ONGC and Suzlon Energy were under selling pressure.
At 09.45 hrs, BSE Sensex was 19,968.62 up 12.28 points and NSE Nifty was 5992.15 up 0.85 points.
The most active in trading were HDFC, Tata Steel, SBI and ICICI Bank.
The top gainers were HDFC up 1.72 percent, HUL up 0.82 percent, GAIL up 0.71 percent and Rel Capital up 1.19 percent.
The top losers were Suzlon Energy down 1.33 percent, Reliance Comm down 1.12 percent, Unitech down 1.08 percent and Kotak Mahindra down 1.07 percent.
