Sarkozy's 'stepping on steps' mantra to tower over taller women in heels!

London, Sep 29 (ANI): French President Nicolas Sarkozy has yet again proved that he is sensitive about his height.

The leader politely bent down to kiss his royal visitor's hand, reports the Daily Mail.

The French President's gesture was apparently more than just a greeting as it made sure he kept Princess Victoria of Sweden at arm's length as the pair met in Paris.

By doing so the President assured his visitor did not share the top step of the entrance to the Elysee Palace in the French capital.

Keen not to allow the Princess's husband to show up his small frame either, the 5ft 5in President then repeated the trick when shaking hands with Prince Daniel.

Princess Victoria and her husband met the Sarkozys as part of a four-day visit to the country. (ANI)
