India should buy US defence equipments: US

Washington, Sep 29: US spokesperson, PJ Crowley claimed that the country has the best military hardware in the world and suggested India to buy American equipments to upgrade India's defence standard.

"We think we have the finest military hardware in the world, and if India is upgrading its defence capabilities, they should buy American," stated Crowley.

Stating about the meeting between Indian defence minister, AK Antony and secretary of state, Hillary Clinton, Crowley informed that both Antony and Clinton accepted their mutual interest in a stable Afghanistan.

"They agreed that India and US have a mutual interest in a stable Afghanistan, and the Secretary welcomed India's contribution in terms of diplomacy and development in building its own relationship with Afghanistan," he added.

As per his statement, both representatives from India and US discussed to expand the defence partnership between the two countries.
