SC to hear Ayodhya verdict deferment on Sep 28

The three-judge bench comprised by the Chief Justice SH Kapadia, Justice Radhakrishnan and Justice Aftab Alam will start the hearing of the petition to defer the verdict at 10.30 am. It is expected that the bench will pronounce the decision on the plea filed by Ramesh Chandra Tripathi.
Earlier on Thursday, Sep 23, Supreme Court stayed the High Court decision to pronounce verdict by a week. The Allahabad High Court was scheduled to pronounce the verdict over Ayodhya title suit on Sep 24.
All-India Muslim Personal Law Board, on Monday, Sep 27, filed a plea in SC to vacate the stay and allowing the High Court to pronounce the verdict.
Central Board of Wakfs and the All-India Hindu Maha Sabha also asked for the verdict by High Court by saying that the verdict will be an interim and aggrieved party will have an option to move the apex court.
