Apple releases update for iTunes 10 Ping

San Francisco, Sep 27: Apple Inc has announced the release of the update for its popular media player iTunes 10.

The iTunes 10 with a social networking tool Ping was launched in Sep 1, 2010 and the update iTunes 10.0.1 comes just two weeks after the release. iTunes 10 allowed the users to enjoy the albums they have, to discover new music and to share favourite music with others in their Ping network.

With new update users can 'Like' a song or 'Post' anything from user's iTunes music library itself. Apple also improved the look and feel of the iTunes interface all together and made it faster as well as responsive.

Other new features include additional voice support with VoiceOver Kit for iPod and the sidebar Ping will give an overview of Ping activities and updates from other Ping contacts as well as music artists. Users can download the new update for free from Apple's website.
