Hooper's remarks on Delhi population unkind: CM

New Delhi, Sep 27: Hitting back at the Commonwealth Games Federation (CGF) chief executive, Mike Hooper for his scathing remarks on Delhi, Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit termed his comments 'unkind and undiplomatic'.

'It's a very unkind and undiplomatic remark,' Dikshit said on Monday, Sep 27 at a function at her residence in response to a question on Hooper's 'population hazard' remark.

This is not the first time the Delhi Chief Minister was moved to attack the CGF CEO. Vexed by an earlier comment, Dikshit in July 2010 had retorted, 'Who is Mark Hooper?'

"We are working very hard and the work will be completed very soon," Dikshit assured amid mounting criticism against the CWG organisers.
