Sensex closes above 20,000 mark

The 30-share BSE Sensex closed at 20117.38, up 72.20 points or 0.36 percent and the 50-share NSE Nifty rose 17.35 points or 0.29 percent to settle at 6,035.65, after erasing 150.6 points and 37.85 points from day's high, respectively.
ABB, Sterlite Ind, Hindalco, Tata Steel were among the top gainers with 3.15 percent, 3.13 percent, 2.98 percent, 2.53 percent up respectively.
HDFC Bank, HUL, Suzlon Energy, HCL Tech were among the top losers with 2.28 percent, 1.94 percent, 1.66 percent, 0.90 percent down respectively.

Trading continues on green, Nifty above 6050 level
Nifty continued trading above 6050 with positive bias. Heavy buying was seen in metal, realty and consumer durables stocks. All BSE sectoral indicators were trading in green barring FMCG.
At 2.35 hrs, BSE Sensex was 20,132.38 up 87.20 points and NSE Nifty was 6038.65 up 20.35 points.
The most active in trading were Tata Steel, SBI, Reliance and HDFC.
The top gainers were Hindalco up 3.64 percent, ABB up 2.99 percent, Sterlite Ind up 2.96 percent and Tata Steel up 2.50 percent.
The top losers were HUL down 1.86 percent, HDFC Bank down 1.71 percent, Suzlon Energy 1.20 percent and Ambuja Cements down 1.13 percent.

Nifty trades above 6050 level, Hindalco, ABB up
Markets were trading in green with Nifty holding above 6050 level since beginning of trade today. Oil & gas, metal, capital goods, power, realty, auto, cement and select financial companies' shares were witnessing buying pressure.
HDFC Bank, HUL, HDFC, HCL Tech and Suzlon Energy were facing lose.
At 12.35 hrs, BSE Sensex was 20,200.58 up 155.40 points and NSE Nifty was 6060.70 up 42.40 points.
The most active in trading were Reliance, Tata Steel, SBI, Reliance and HDFC.
The top gainers were Hindalco up 3.51 percent, ABB up 3.35 percent, Tata Steel up 2.83 percent and Sterlite Ind up 2.20 percent.
The top losers were HUL down 1.62 percent, HDFC Bank down 1.25 percent, Suzlon Energy 1.10 percent and HDFC down 0.73 percent.

Market opens in green, ABB, Hindalco up
Markets started trading on positive notes. Experts were expecting markets to test their all-time highs in near term on strong funds flows into Indian equities.
At 9.35 hrs, BSE Sensex was 20163.98 up 118.80 points and NSE Nifty was 6055.55 up 37.25 points.
The most active in trading were Reliance, Tata Steel, HDFC Bank and SBI.
The top gainers were ABB up 4.08 percent, Hindalco up 2.98 percent, Tata Steel up 1.87 percent and Sterlite Ind up 1.65 percent.
The top losers were Idea Cellular down 1.49 percent, HDFC Bank down 0.73 percent, HUL 0.56 percent and Bharati Airtel down 0.31 percent.
