Android touch tablet arrives in India @ Rs 9,000
The tablet PCs are the latest wave in the gadget market. We can see dozens of tablets in the market, which was created by iPad launch by innovative giant Apple Inc. Now all leading electronic manufactures like Dell, Samsung, Lenovo etc have tablets with outstanding features.
India is a big market for tablet PCs with a rapid growth in the year 2010. All major branded tablets are available in Indian market and users have one more choice to select. UK based leading international telecom giant, Binatone, has launched it's Android based Touch Tablet in India on Friday, Sep 24.
The all new Home Surf Touch tablet runs on Google Android 1.6 operating system and has an 8 inch resistive screen. It is powered by an ARM 11 667 MHz processor and has 128 MB RAM. It comes with a 2 GB inbuilt memory and connectivity option of Wi-Fi.
"We are committed to breaking the barriers of technology reaching the masses. Our products are specifically 'Indianised' with special features like audio boost, power saver and Binatone zone, which all have been carefully market researched and implemented to address the specific Indian needs," said Sat Murthi, Executive Vice President Binatone India.
Home Surf Touch tablet is priced at Rs 9,000 and is available in all leading stores.
