Obama praises India as a flourishing democracy
Speaking at the UN assembly general meeting, Obama said, "I will visit India, which peacefully threw off colonialism and established a thriving democracy of over a billion people."
While acknowledging India's stand on democracy, US President also praised state of democracy in Indonesia, where he plans to visit in Nov 2010.
He also informed that US shifted their all attention to Afghanistan as the country was withdrawing from Iraq.
