Iranian Prez accuses US of 9/11 attack

United Nations, Sep 24: Iranian President, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad demanded before UN to start a fresh probe into the 9/11 attack as he claimed that US itself assailed the 9/11 attack to reverse the American declining economy.

While speaking at UN general assembly meeting, Ahmadinejad stated, "some segments within the US government orchestrated the attack to reverse the declining American economy."

His statement also added, "and its grips on the Middle East, in order also to save the Zionist regime."

He proposed to UN, "It is proposed that the United Nations set up an independent fact-finding group for the event of Sep 11 so that in the future expressing views about it is not forbidden."
