Facebook faces networking problems

California, Sep 24: Some of the Facebook users reported that they can't connect to the site on Thursday, Sep 23.

The social networking giant Facebook told that the problem was caused due to an outside technical problem. The report came just two days after another popular networking website Twitter hacked by virus and lead it's followers to porn sites.

"We are experiencing an issue with a third-party networking provider that is causing problems for some people trying to connect to Facebook," said Facebook.

"We are in contact with this provider in order to explore what can be done to resolve the issue. In the meantime, we are working on deploying changes to bypass the affected connections," it added.

Facebook is considered as the most popular social networking hub with more than 500 million active users.
