Manila: Dad gets 14,400 yrs in prison for rape

Manila, Sep 24: In a shocking incident a Phillipine court on Friday, Sep 24 sentenced a man to 14,400 years in prison for raping his daughter over the course of a year.

His 22-year-old daughter said her horrific experience began in Jan 2001, when her mother was away for work in Hong Kong.

She further revealed that he forced her to have intercourse with him almost every day, if not she was beaten up.

This revelation came only when she and her siblings spent a vacation with maternal relatives. Disgusted over her father's treatment she broke down and told her family about the abuse.

It was then their mother came and rescued her children and registered the case before the local police, after which it was handed to the court.
