Facebook to launch two Android smartphones?
Bloomberg has reported that Facebook, having more than 500 million active users, is working with mobile phone maker INQ Mobile Ltd to make two smartphones that may have a network tie up with AT&T Inc. The new report came just four days after Facebook slamming the report of Facebook Phone.
On Sunday, Sep 19 Facebook's spokesman Jaime Schopflin rejected the report by saying that company is not building a phone. But he added that Facebook is in deeper integrations with some mobile phone manufacturers.
The report reveals that the smartphones will have Facebook's services and were set to be unveiled in Europe in the first half of 2011 and the United States in the second half of the year. The smartphones will be powered with Google Android OS. Presently Facebook application is available for Apple iOS, Android, BlackBerry and Nokia Symbian.
