Ayodhya verdict: Lucknow schools, colleges shut

Even though there is no official order from the authorities to shut the educational institutes, some institutes have already scheduled holidays fearing an outbreak of violence following the crucial judgement delivered by the Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court.
The Lucknow University will be shut for three days starting from Sep 24. The university will resume classes only on Monday, Sep 27. The same goes for Integral University, which will remain close tomorrow and would reopen on Sep 27.
Guru Govind Singh Sports College will be shut from Friday, Sep 24 and will reopen Wednesday, Sep 29.
In the southern state of Karnataka, the government announced two-day holdiay, on Friday, Sep 24 and Saturday, Sep 25, as a precautionary measure.
