Ceiling of CWG weightlifting venue collapses

Delhi, Sep 22 (ANI): Part of the ceiling of the weightlifting venue at the Jawaharlal Nehru (JLN) Stadium collapsed on Wednesday.

According to TV reports, no one is injured in the incident

On Tuesday an under-construction foot overbridge collapsed outside the Jawaharlal Nehru stadium.

As many as 26 labourers were injured when the elevated pedestrian crossing the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium collapsed.

Five of the injured are still in critical condition.

According to sources, the 95-metre long bridge was being built along with another overbridge at the cost of Rs 10.5 crore by Chandigarh-based company PNR Infra.(ANI)
