Recession officially over, job openings awaited
According to an outplacement firm, retailers are expected to hire 600,000 temporary workers. That's fewer than before the recession, but more than 2009.
The National Bureau of Economic Research said the recession that started in Dec 2007 officially ended in Jun 2009.
Despite of the scholar's announcement in 2009, vast majorities think the world is still in recession, regardless of what scholars say.
The worst and longest recession, after the great depression in the 1930s, has changed consumers' shopping habits and they less rely on credit cards now, market analysts reported.
