Suspected Pakistani spy arrested in Delhi

According to the police, 43-year-old Shujat Haider, hailing from and trained in Lahore, had been staying in the national capital for the last one year to conduct recce of Army installations.
Officials said on Tuesday, Sep 21, that Haider was apprehended from an East Delhi locality on Sep 14.
The spy, who landed in Delhi in Sep 2009, has been living as Mohammad Pervez.
Haider, who is currently in police custody, will be produced before the court on Wednesday, Sep 22. The police hope to get further remand of the accused so as to learn about his activities over the past year.
