Newspapers 'speak' to readers on Volkswagen Vento
Readers of Times of India and the Chennai edition of The Hindu were in for a shock when they picked up their morning paper as it spoke to them on all the great features of Volkswagen Vento.
The papers came with a pressure-activated microchip within a black speaker box about 2.5 inches x 1.5 inches, reported domian-B.
The microchip played a pre-recorded message about Volkswagen's Vento as soon as the paper was spread.
Volkswagen is now creating waves across the country over its innovative audio clip with which it spiced up the age old method of print advertisement on newspapers.
Even though Vento was launched in Aug 2010, the car, priced between Rs6.99 lakh and Rs9.23 lakh, is now making more news than during its entry into the market.
