Naxal communicator held in Chhattisgarh

Radheshyam Giri, residing in city's Laakhenagar area, was held on Monday, Sep 20, with some Naxal material and literature, Durg Superintendent of Police Amit Kumar said.
Giri is an aide of Naxal spokesperson Gudsa Usendi and got associated with the Maoist ideology a few years ago after completing his higher secondary education.
According to the police, Giri, who was living in a rented flat here since last three years, has been extending required help to Maoists in the city by providing them basic amenities to carry out their operations.
Giri served as a communicator in the Naxal link by handing over letters to operatives besides helping them out with weapons, finances and medical aid in case of injuries.
