JUI chief Fazlur Rehman barred from entering US
Doha, Sept 21 (ANI): Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) chief and chairman of the Kashmir Committee- Maulana Fazlur Rehman- has been barred from entering the United States.
An official in the US State Department confirmed to media on condition of anonymity that Rehman was stopped at Doha international airport, when he was ready to fly to America to attend an OIC moot being held in New York, The News reports.
The US State Department said that his case was being reviewed at the moment, after which he would be issued a boarding pass, the official added.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Federal Minister for Science and Technology, Azam Khan Swati, has been cleared for going to America unconditionally. (ANI)
