India prepared to discuss JK issue with Pak: Rao

Boston, Sep 21: Feeling the need of close relationship between Pakistan and Indian, Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao said, India is prepared to "discuss all outstanding issues" with Pakistan, including the issue of Jammu and Kashmir, to ensure stability in the South Asian region on Tuesday, Sep 21 in Boston.

Rao added that India wants to persevere dialogue with Pakistan. The dialogue is to bring mutual consensus in all the issues that are disturbing both the countries. She stressed particularly that Kashmir is an internal matter as far as Indian is concerned.

"It is an internal affair because Kashmir is an integral part of India."

Referring to the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, Rao told sources that the issue is very much a part of what "we want to speak to Pakistan about.

Rao added India's vision for development with South Asian cooperation is challenged by extremism and terrorism, which originates in our region.
