Indonesia: 3 terror suspects killed, 15 arrested

Medan(Indonesia), Sep 21: Three suspected terrorists were killed and 15 others were arrested by the Indonesia's anti-terrorism unit on Tuesday, Sep 21.

Police Chief Gen Bambang Hendarso Danuri said the men were involved in series of armed robberies on banks and moneychangers since Apri 2010 to buy weapons and finance acts of terror.

Danuri told sources that those arrested were belonging to al-Qaida, Jemaah Islamiyah or JAT.

Several weapons were seized from them, including an FN-45 rifle and 1.5 kilograms of TNT, which was ready to be assembled into a bomb.
