Transcend upgrades 2.5 solid state drives

New Delhi, Sep 20: One of the global leader in storage and memory products, Transcend Information Inc, has announced the upgrade of its 2.5 solid state drives (SSD).

The new SSDs boast transfer speeds reaching 260MB/s and storage capacities up to 512 GB. It will support the TRIM command, which is essential to maintain optimum write speeds, for the maximum compatibility with with the latest versions of Windows and Linux. It can also be installed with desktop computers to improve performance and reliability.

The new improved performance of SSD will significantly help for faster system boot up and application launch speed, while offering the lag-free responsiveness and stability necessary for storage-intensive computing and high-end gaming systems.

The 2.5 SSDs are are backed by a two-year warranty and incorporate innovative tamper-resistant features to guarantee authenticity. The new SSD is available in 32 GB, 64GB, 128GB, 256GB and 512GB and is priced at Rs 9,900, 17,600, 33,500, 61,800 and Rs 12,7600 respectively.
