Mehbooba Mufti
Srinagar, Sep 20: When India is looking forward towards the all party delegation visit to Jammu Kashmir on Sep 20, Peoples' Democratic Party (PDP) threatened to boycott the talks if the eight-day long curfew is not lifted in the Valley.

Accusing the government of "sabotaging" the visit by clamping curfew in the Valley, PDP President, Mehbooba Mufti said, "If the repressive measures continue, we will have to reconsider our decision (of being part of the all-party initiative)."

A all party team, led by Home Minister, P Chidambaram, would visit the valley to interrogate the real reason behind people's anger and rage and hopes to meet leaders of various separatist groups in a bid to break the impasse in Kashmir that has witnessed unabated violence over the last few months claiming over 100 lives.

However, Separatists group like Hurriyat leader, Syed Ali Shah Geelani has already refused to meet the delegation and asked for peaceful protests in each district Head Quarters.
