Musharraf wanted to hand over AQ Khan to US

Islamabad, Sep 20: Former Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf had intentions of handing over nuclear scientist Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan to the United States, former Prime Minister Mir Zafar Ullah Khan Jamali has revealed.

Jamali said that he had summoned a cabinet meeting over the issue of the nuclear scientist and clearly told Musharraf that the government would not hand over Khan to the US, said sources.

With this issue AQ Khan appreciated on Jamali's statement calling him gentle and honest.

Dr Khan added that Musharraf was a traitor who has sold out his own country.
