Delhi to concede autonomy to JK: Chidambaram

Ahead of the all-party delegation"s visit on Sep 20 to Jammu and Kashmir, Chidambaram also hinted that the Centre may be considering concessions to Kashmir in the aftermath of the three month long violence in the Valley.
However, Chidambaram he added that for any other decisions, plebiscite was not up for consideration.
Three persons were killed and 30 others injured in fresh violence in Kashmir on Saturday, Sep 19 even as curfew was relaxed in parts of Srinagar.
Though the Omar Abdullah government reimposed curfew in the valley on Sep 19 to control violence in the region despite of the fact that Hurriyat leader, Geelani announced to stop protest and strike in the state on Sep 19.
