Delhi police arrest cab driver for raping children in New Delhi

New Delhi, Sep. 18 (ANI): A school cab driver has been arrested by Delhi Police for allegedly raping a minor girl and sodomising her younger brothers for two years.

Lalit, the driver, was arrested on Friday night. He was beaten up by a mob at the Prasad Nagar police station, an NDTV report says.

The incident surfaced on Friday when the 12-year-old schoolgirl, studying in class VII, narrated the story to her widowed mother. Her two minor brothers study in standard III and V.

The girl said that the rapist also made an MMS and threatened to kill her if she told the story to anyone.

Police said Lalit has confessed to his crime and also revealed names of his four co-accused, who are all minor, studying in the same school.

These minor boys were allegedly part of the gangrape and also made an MMS of the victims.

The girl said that she was repeatedly raped under the influence of drug and the accused also sodomised her younger brothers.

Irate locals ransacked the Prasad Nagar Police station in Delhi when the accused driver was inside the police station. (ANI)
