Out from US, Kumar held in Canada again

Wasington, Sep 16: Day after Indian filmmaker Vijay Kumar was freed from the US custody, he landed again into more trouble as he was detained in Canada on Thursday, Sep 16.

As per reports, Kumar's antecedents are being checked by the Canadian authorities and has been given a lawyer who will represent him in the case.

Further reports said that Kumar arrived in Canada with no luggage which led suspicion to the Canadian Border Security Agency.

He is scheduled for a hearing with the Canadian officials at the Vancouver airport on Thursday, Sep 16.

The authority said that he is being treated well and has asked him to stay at a particular hotel.
