Raja gets notice from SC over 2G spectrum scam

New Delhi, Sep 13: The Supreme Court on Monday, Sep 13 issued a notice to Telecom Minister A Raja over the multi-crore 2G spectrum scam.

The apex court has also directed Raja to reply to the notice within 10 days.

Raja faces allegations that his ministry sold 2G spectrum below market prices which resulted over the loss of Rs 50,000-60,000 crore.

The court also slammed the CBI for filing FIR against unnamed officials and said the investigating agency should have named them.

The petitioners has accused the central government of using the CBI for political motives.
