Mahindra Satyam in hunt for 3,000 techies

New Delhi, Sep 13: For the first time after 2009, Mahindra Satyam, the new brand entity of Satyam computers, decided to hire 3,000 new techies and they will visit several campuses through out the country soon.

Company recruitment head, M V Sridhar said, "We are going to recruit close to 3,000 entry-level associates and at the same, we will look at hiring across various technologies and competencies. We will visit campuses and begin the process from the next month (Oct 2010)."

After the Satyam scam broke out in Jan 2009, Mahindra Group's IT arm, Tech Mahindra acquired a majority stake in Satyam and rebranded it as Mahindra Satyam in Apr 2009.

"With the brand Mahindra Satyam winning back clients and getting repeat business from existing clients, we think this is the right time to visit the campuses and hire talents," stated Sridhar.
