Jharkhand alliance splits BJP; LK Advani furious

As per media reports, LK Advani is miffed over the party"s decision to seek JMM's backing to form government in Jharkhand, which has been under the president's rule since three months.
Mr Advani is so angry with the deal that he is expected to skip the Arjun Munda's swearing-in ceremony scheduled to take place on Saturday, Sep 11, reported a private TV news channel.
Arun Jaitley and Sushma Swaraj are also upset over the BJP's alliance with the JMM, said CNN-IBN.
BJP President Nitin Gadkari and the former party president Rajnath Singh, on the other hand, are in favour of the alliance.
Another report in Asian Age informed that, Mr Advani, who was against going in for an alliance with the JMM once again, had also indicated that if the alliance was repeated, senior BJP leader and member of Parliament from Hazaribagh Yashwant Sinha should be made chief minister.
Gadkari, who carried out his own gameplan, wanted his loyalist, Arjun Munda as the Chief Minister, the report added.
